BlumourAbout Blumour

For artists

Your music, playing for people who focus.

Blumour plays instrumental music to people studying and working, as a shared radio: everyone on a station hears the same track at the same moment. Send us your tracks. If they fit a station, they play with your name and a link to you.

What you get

Your name on screen

While your track plays, the player shows its title and your name, linked to the page you choose: Spotify, Bandcamp or your website. You're also on the music credits page.

Listeners for hours

People keep Blumour open for whole study and work sessions, and each station shows how many are listening right now.

You keep your rights

The licence is free and non-exclusive. Release, sell and license your music anywhere else, and leave whenever you want.

Played with care

No ads around your music, no cuts, no remixes. We only even out the volume between tracks and fade from one to the next.

What fits

  • Instrumental only: no vocals and no spoken words.
  • Steady: no sudden drops, loud peaks or long silences.
  • It suits one of our stations, or a new one we could open.
  • Good files: WAV, FLAC, or MP3 at 320 kbps.

Our stations

  • 60 bpm focus
  • Classical
  • Piano
  • Raga & flute
  • Zen
  • Jazz
  • Bossa nova

Before you send

We can only play music you are free to license. Check that:

  • You wrote and recorded the tracks, or everyone who did agrees.
  • You own the recordings: no label or distributor holds rights that stop you from licensing them.
  • The tracks are not registered with a collecting society (SGAE, PRS, ASCAP, BMI, GEMA, SACEM and others). Members usually can't license streaming on their own.
  • There are no samples you haven't cleared.

How it works

  1. 1

Send a link to your tracks with the form below.

  2. 2

We listen to everything and reply by email.

  3. 3

If your music fits, we add it to a station and tell you. Nothing plays before we have written to you.

Blumour Artist Licence 1.0

Version 1.0, 1 October 2026

This licence is between you, the artist who sends us music, and Blumour. It covers the tracks you send through this page and any you add later by email.

What you allow Blumour to do

  • Play the tracks inside Blumour (the website and its apps) to any number of listeners at once, worldwide, including as a shared radio where everyone hears the same track at the same time.
  • Keep copies on our servers, convert the file format, even out the loudness so every track plays at a similar level, and fade between tracks. We do not otherwise edit, cut or remix your music.
  • Show your artist name and the track titles, and link to the page you choose.

What you keep

  • All your rights. This licence is non-exclusive: you can release, sell and license your music anywhere else.
  • It is free: neither side pays the other, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
  • We do not offer your tracks for download, and we never sell them.

Credit

  • While your track plays, the player shows its title and your name with a link. You are also listed on the music credits page.

Ending it

  • You can end this licence at any time by writing to the contact address we will publish on this page before launch. We remove your tracks within 30 days.
  • We may stop playing any track at any time.

What you confirm

  • You wrote and recorded the tracks, or everyone who did agrees to this licence.
  • You own the recordings, and no label, distributor or other person holds rights that stop you from giving this licence.
  • The tracks are not registered with a collecting society (such as SGAE, PRS, ASCAP, BMI, GEMA or SACEM). If that changes, you tell us, and we stop playing them.
  • The tracks contain no samples or parts of other works that are not cleared for this use.
  • If any of this turns out to be untrue, you tell us straight away, and you are responsible for claims that result from it.
